I don't listen to audiobooks as much as I should; they are a great tool for learning, provide 'learning on demand', and help with accessibility.

I used to listen to them in the past and found they were a good way of summarising what is in a book - particularly if I was on a long commute. I am often dipping in and out of books for specific pieces of information and I guess that is much harder using an audiobook.

Much more than I used to where I need to cram my "reading" into the limited spare time I have. I even have an Audible subscription now! Only downside is where the "book" relies on a lot of images or data.

My current formula is to listen to the audio version and, if I enjoyed it or found it useful is to then buy the hard copy to revisit.
